POLYMAR

Our POLYMAR is a high density and high molecular weight pressed polyethylene which, due to its excellent behavior whilst in contact with food, has been conceived for developments in the meat, catering and food industry in general in applications such as: - Cutting boards for the household - Cutting blocks/tables for the meat processing industry: cutting rooms, butchers, fishmongers, supermarkets, large surfaces etc. - Instruments and accessories for industrial kitchens. - Doors and protection panels for cold chambers. - Trays for canning. - Industrial impact protection and Industrial protections panels. It is a product that has an excellent resistance to impact and also, due to its extremely low moisture absorption coefficient, its resistance to chemical agents and its good behavior to changes in temperature, makes cleaning very easy even in a dishwasher. It is approved by the health authority (D.G.S.) for food use (RD 319/1984). It meets all the regulations adopted for plastic materials with food contact, including the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for contact with foods, described in the CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Title 21, section 177.1520 (c) and the requirements defined by the directives of the EEC (European Community) on plastic materials for contact with food, Directive 2002/72 / EC of 6th August 2002 and its updates. POLYMAR is a high density polyethylene with high molecular weight.
